Carrie has studied the body in movement for the last eleven years. After traveling to India to become a certified yoga instructor in 2000, and then later earning her Stott Pilates Instructor certification in 2005, she decided to apply her knowledge to bodywork. Carrie encourages her clients to approach the body with compassion and curiosity. She facilitates a supportive environment that promotes relaxation into a deeply, restorative healing experience. Carrie integrates Swedish, Deep Tissue, Relaxation, and Thai Massage seamlessly on the table or on a traditional Thai Mat. She currently teaches yoga and Pilates in Southwest and Southeast Portland.

Using simple, yet effective exercises, Carrie will guide you through a combination of Pilates and Yoga techniques that will increase core strength, muscle tone, circulation, and body confidence. She draws from her experience studying Strength Conditioning, Injury Rehab, Restorative Yoga, Anusara Yoga, and Meditation.
